Meet Mitchell
Mitchell is a native of Greenville, SC with a love for movement. After more than 5 years of working in college student development, he returned home to pursue his passion for health and wellness. Now, Mitchell is a coach, trainer, and 500 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT). In the studio, his teaching is inspired by music and creating space and potential in the body, mind and spirit. His classes are a mixtape party with a little touch of soul.
Mitchell attended undergrad at the University of South Carolina where he studied Communications and Leadership Studies and discovered his love for nurturing everyday leaders. He later obtained his Masters in Public Administration from the College of Charleston to better understand the pathways for institutional change, and most recently he received his Masters in Public Health Nutrition from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill to further his passion for increasing awareness, access and affordability of healthy nutrition.
When he’s not pursuing his career in fitness or studies in nutrition, Mitchell enjoys running and spending time with his friends. If you ask him what his favorite tv show is, he’ll likely say he’s been watching the news or reruns of Scandal on Hulu.
